Pastoral Consultant
Dr. Sœurette Fougère is a member of the pastoral-services team and brings to RENEW International many years of experience in education and ministry. She is a retired Education Administrator from the New York City Department of Education, where she worked for thirty years fulfilling numerous teaching and administrative positions.
She holds Bachelors of Science in mathematics, science, and technology, a Master of Science in education with a concentration in bilingual education, and a Doctor of Philosophy in education, as well as professional certificates in school-administration supervision and school district administration.
She aspires to be “a devoted and humble servant of the Lord”. In addition to parish work, she has attended liturgical and leadership training. She is very active in the Haitian Apostolate and has been a member of the Haitian National Council of the Charismatic Renewal for over a decade, which gives her the opportunity to share her knowledge and skills with parishioners in the tri-state area.
Dr. Fougère’s leadership in both the educational and religious realm has contributed to advancing and motivating many to embrace the education field and others to become more involved in religious activities.
