The participants from Our Lady Queen of Martyrs/St. Bernard of Clairvaux Parish took part in the festival parade. Tina Leal, second from right, a parish leader, said her daughter, Kristen, fourth from right a member of the Why Catholic? team, invited her fellow cheerleaders at nearby Holy Trinity Catholic High School to help promote the process. Kristen was a small-group member when the parish experienced ARISE Together with Christ from RENEW. “We all had a blast,” Tina said about the parade. “We wore the (Why Catholic?) aprons, gave out candy, and visited with people along the side of the road. It was great!’’ Fr. Alan Dufraimont, pastor, is at the center of the front row.
